Fonte: www.tripadvisor.com

It takes 3-7 minutes to get to the main squares (Rossio, Figuera, Restauradores), train and tram stations (im 28), cheap caffes and shops. The room is cleaned daily, no odours in toilet. The room is equipped with individual air-condition. There is a modern elevator, so no matter at what floor your room is. The receptionists are friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfasts are always the same: boiled eggs, cheese, croisants, jam, butter, bread, fruits, coffee, tea, juice. In other words, the ratio price-quality is well performed. Advise: when booking compare the prices of official website and other booking systems, that can help you to save some money. Fonte: www.tripadvisor.com

Fonte: www.tripadvisor.com

Stayed 3 nights at Portuense. We chose this place because of the location close to the central area of Lisbon. The place is clean, quiet (double glazed rooms) with friendly and helpful staff. Free breakfast was an additional bonus and it was a continental breakfast with bread cheese etc. Plenty of good location restaurants nearby with great typical Portuguese food. The street looks like a war zone, with broken pavements and demolition sites all around, but don't let this put you off. It is, in effect, a very up and coming area - hence all the building work - and Portuense has a location most hotels would give their right arm for, just one block back from Praca dos Restauradores, on a small road which runs parallel with Lisbon's high-class shopping boulevard, Avenida da Liberdade. The main Rossio square with its train station is just a few minutes' walk away, as is the metro, tram stops and buses, while the huge Praca do Comercio facing the River Tagus can be reached in 10 minutes (providing you don't get distracted by all the shops along the way!). Portuensa itself is in a recently restored historical building which now houses 36 bedrooms of varying sizes, all with private bathrooms air-conditioning, TV and telephone. The rooms are basic but comfortable and spotlessly clean. Hairdryers are available from reception, but if you enjoy a wallow in the bath, take a plug as there are none provided. Breakfast is a simple but filling affair taken in a room behind reception. There is a choice of fruit juice, cheese, hard-boiled eggs, fruit, jam, butter, bread and croissants plus coffee and hot water and tea bags to make your own cuppa. There is also a vending machine available around the clock which serves up a variety of coffees and hot chocolate for around 60 cents a cup. We didn't use the service, but you can apparently get a 7kg load of washing done for a reasonable fee. The hotel is family-run, and everyone we met was friendly and helpful. They booked taxis for us, gave advice on sight-seeing and recommended a really good restaurant virtually just around the corner. It was on a small street which cut through to Restauradores Square, and was packed with about eight other small restaurants which with open air flame heaters and twinkly lights looked very inviting in the dark. Fonte: www.tripadvisor.com

Location of this hotel can't be beat! It's within walking distance of most sites in Lisbon as well as the metro, Rossio train station, and many restaurants! A very short walk from the airport bus drop off! Rooms are spartan, but spotless, as is the bathroom! Currently WiFI is only available on the main floor, but plans are in place to have it throughout the hotel. A small family runs the place, and the 2 sons working at the front desk speak excellent English and are extremely helpful and knowledgeable! Breakfast is more than adequate, but a bit boring, esp after a few days! The mini fresh fruit was especially appreciated as well as the whole grain bread products. Would highly recommend! Great value for the price !

First stayed at this hotel in 2001, and this was our third time. This time with friends and we had an amazing time. Centrally located, clean, friendly and family owned. We all enjoyed our stay and will stay again. Walking distance to Metro, shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Fonte: www.tripadvisor.com

Malý hotel ale v centru mesta - pár kroku z námestí Restauradores. Pokoje cisté, denní peclivý úklid. Personál vstrícný a milý. Jediný problém - velký stavební ruch v ulici, který ovšem behem cca pul roku ustane. Jinak není nic, co by se dalo vytknout. Cena príjemná. Fonte: www.tripadvisor.com

Fonte: www.tripadvisor.com
